COMPLEX BALLOON TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM FOR COSMIC RADIATION MEASUREMENTS

EUROPEAN SPACE AGENCY

The basic idea

Due to signi cant spatial and temporal changes in the cosmic radiation field, radiation measurements with advanced dosimetric instruments on board spacecrafts, aircrafts and balloons are very important. The main objective of the TECHDOSE experiment is to design and develop a complex ballon technolgy platform for advanced cosmic radiation and dosimetric measurements with active (TriTel, Geiger-Müller counters) and passive (Pille, PorTL, SSNTD) systems, developed in the MTA EK. An important aspect of the development of the experiment is the adaptation of the instrument to the gondola of the BEXUS balloon.
